Stewart has just gone through a nasty breakup. Help him recover through the five stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance.
For So Bare Is My Heart was a one-person personal project developed to explore the relationship between player interaction and character development utilising the Kübler-Ross Model as a narrative and game framework. Players direct Stewart through the various environments, and his psyche feeds off of and responds to these environments. Depending on his reactions and thoughts, his emotions build up and at the end of each phase, he either progresses or remains in that emotional state. There are 5 endings, depending on which emotional state Stewart ends up in.
